poliestireno-extruido-2 Extruded polystyrene

Floor insulation

Extruded polystyrene

Extruded polystyrene is a material that stands out especially for its light weight and is widely used in the construction field as thermal insulation. Its creation process, through extrusion, produces a closed bubble structure that is also particularly water resistant and resists impacts very well.

These rigid foam boards significantly improve the energy performance of the building in which they are installed, whether industrial or residential. It has great potential and its versatile characteristics make it the ideal insulating material for ceilings, walls and floors.

Applications

The installation of these extruded polystyrene sheets can be carried out in many areas, but due to its characteristics, it is ideal for:

  • The waterproofing of roofs or thermal insulation of floors, walls and ceilings are usually among its main applications.
  • As thermal insulation, since extruded polystyrene can be used as a roof for an outdoor patio, flooring for homes and offices (also improving energy efficiency) and walls for residential decoration and insulation.

Features

These polystyrene insulation boards have a number of advantages. These include its density and high resistance to the elements, which do not corrode it. It is a very durable and strong material that withstands shocks and sudden changes in temperature, as well as water and gases. In fact, it tends to prevent the appearance of moisture stains.

In this sense, it also presents an enormous resistance to fire and promotes its extinction.

It is a material that can be easily cut with a cutter and is an ideal thermal insulator, thus helping to maintain energy savings that are very convenient for the consumer. Installation is simple, fast and requires little maintenance.

Commercial sliding refrigerated door data sheet

The door includes frame and counterframe in extruded aluminum with double thermal break. High resistance treatment fixed with hidden screws adaptable to different thicknesses. The use of high quality materials and its design are designed to ensure that the door has a minimum level of maintenance.

A polyisocyanurate (PIR) foam refrigeration panel is used for the door leaf, which gives the door a B-s1-d0 fire classification according to EN 13501-1.
